FYI, this story is more than a year old

Wellington start-up Wipster has entered into a new partnership with global video platform Vimeo, that will see the Kiwi video review company expand its international presence.

Rollo Wenlock, Wipster CEO, says the partnership strengthens Wipster's international presence while building on Vimeo's reputation as the highest quality platform for video creative professionals worldwide.

“Our international focus has meant Wipster is now a serious contender in the competitive tech market – to be partnering with themost important video-sharing site is a huge vote of confidence in our platform,” he says.

Wenlock says Wipster is used by video professionals in 120 countries, and this partnership introduces Wipster to millions of new potential customers.

Michael Weissman, Vimeo's general manager, says Vimeo chose to collaborate with New Zealand-based Wipster because of shared ideals.

“When we met Wipster, we felt an affinity with the company and team immediately – Wipster's focus on creative professionals and its emphasis on powerful, yet easy-to-use features is exactly what Vimeo is about,” he explains.

The partnership enables members of Vimeo's professional-grade services to privately share videos with clients and collaborators through Wipster. The seamless integration means Vimeo customers can quickly import files from their Vimeo account into Wipster, and then publish approved material back to their Vimeo account.
