Letter from the editor: Changing of the guard and on to newer, more exciting things

By Kai Ping Lew, Fri 12 May 2017
FYI, this story is more than a year old

It's been a month since bizEDGE moved from being one of three portfolios under an editor, to having one editor in charge of it as a business unit.

I'd like to thank our loyal bizEDGE readers for the increased engagement in our content, and talk a little bit about the direction I hope for the website to go in.

bizEDGE covers a very interesting space in tech news right now, where innovation, technology, and ideas collide.

As such, our focus will be on New Zealand (and occasionally Australian) small-to-medium businesses, entrepreneurs, accelerators, the exciting things they're doing, and the solutions that help them do so.

Areas of interest include fintech, cloud solutions, martech, customer experience (CX), blockchain technology, knowledge management (KM) and more.

The New Zealand small business scene is a community, so I'd love for our readers to engage with us on your favourite platform - be it Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn

Are there other developing technology areas you'd like to see discussed more? Any Kiwis doing amazing entrepreneurial things we should know about?

I'd love to hear your feedback and ideas.

We also have a newsletter that goes out three times a week with the best stories so you don't miss them - you can subscribe in a matter of seconds on the right side of this page.

So strap your seatbelts on, ladies and gentlemen - we're in for a wild ride and I couldn't be more pleased to have you with us.
