Learn social media marketing from one of the best
Businesses looking to embrace social media in their marketing won’t get a better opportunity to learn how to do it than by listening to Randi Zuckerberg, sister to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and one-time marketing director for the social network, when she addresses an audience in Auckland in a month’s time.
Zuckerberg will be the key speaker at an event being run by Air New Zealand, aimed at ‘giving kiwi businesses the knowledge they need to succeed in the fast moving medium that is proving a game changer for companies globally’.
The airline’s own social media team, The Flying Social Network, will also be involved in the presentations. Air New Zealand ranks sixth in the world for social media presence among airlines, despite being the 36th-largest globally.
Air New Zealand chief executive Rob Fyfe says his team constantly looks to tools such as Facebook and Twitter, as well as emerging platforms like Pinterest, to drive customer engagement and feedback and promote brand awareness.
"I’m sure attendees of this event will be looking forward to being able to apply the tools and advice that Randi and our social media experts are able to share to their own businesses and brands,” Fyfe says.
The event will take place from 7am to 10am on July 4, and the Viaduct Events Centre. Tickets are $75 – go here to buy yours.
