Auckland digital agency Inbound picks up HubSpot award
Auckland digital marketing agency Inbound has been recognised by global marketing software firm HubSpot for its work with an Instagram account growth service called Authentically.
Authentically is the creation of Inbound cofounder Steven Male, who started the project with no customers and no revenue. In just two months, it was working towards $630,000 in annual revenue.
HubSpot provided the core infrastructure for Authentically. It included a mix of Instagram Story ads, Facebook ads, Google Adwords, and automated emails.
According to HubSpot VP of international marketing Susanne Ahmadi, the HubSpot Agency Partner Impact Awards recognise the best inbound work across the globe, in five core categories.
“We would like to congratulate Inbound on achieving the Inbound Growth Story award for their region amongst their competition," Ahmadi says.
Male adds that when he started work on Authentically, it was receiving one website visitor per day.
“We took that to more than 20,000 visitors a month after just four weeks thanks to the holistic inbound marketing and advertising campaign we devised,” Male says.
Inbound also used HubSpot’s Service Hub to facilitate real-time feedback from clients and to keep the likes of communication open.
Inbound used Service Hub to help Authentically work out the Net Promoter Score, and the company says it wasn’t pretty.
“We found out that our new service had a lot of detractors who felt let down. Once we identified the issues, we were able to put together a customer service team and resolve it quickly, which quickly brought the NPS back up,” Male explains.
“These days, it’s more important than ever to have really happy clients because people’s power to recommend or warn others off brands is stronger than ever.
“Our work with Authentically is an example of using the latest in marketing tools to truly enhance customer experience and it demonstrates how happier customers always lead to a better bottom line
“We’re absolutely over the moon with the recognition from HubSpot. These awards are what everyone in the industry aspires to win, so it’s a huge honour,” Male concludes.
