FYI, this story is more than a year old

Quest Apartment Hotels are once again running the #MyBizQuest campaign, and is looking for the country's 'ambitious entrepreneurs' to help make it happen.

The campaign will award one winner a business grant worth more than $15,000 to help kick off their business idea or to help fund an existing business project.

The winner will also receive direct investment in business infrastructure priorities, travel, accommodation expenses mentoring support from Quest and PR as part of being the winner.

Entrants for #MyBizQuest 2017 need to upload a short video (maximum of 60 seconds) to the Quest Apartment Hotels (NZ) Facebook page, describing their business ambitions and why they deserve to be the winners.

“Building a business isn't easy, and often taking the first steps to bring an idea to life are the hardest. #MyBizQuest was created with this challenge in mind and offers a unique opportunity for New Zealand entrepreneurs to bring their ideas into the future,” says Quest Apartment Hotels (NZ) CEO, Stephen Mansfield.

This is the second year of the programme. Last year's winners Little Yellow Bird (LYB) were able to expand their business global and get contracts with high-profile New Zealand companies.

“We would highly recommend aspiring businesses enter #MyBizQuest. The mentoring package gave us the information and expertise we needed to take our business to the next level,” says Little Yellow Bird co-founder Samantha Jones.

Entries for #MyBizQuest close on January 31, 2017. The winner will be announced in late February.

“Through #MyBizQuest, we want to understand what the entrant's passions are, how to support these passions and how Quest can help bring them to reality," Mansfield concludes.
